No Fault Reform
Changes were made in July of 2020 to the auto insurance world in Michigan. The main differences reflect the bodily injury coverage and medical coverage on the auto policy. For additional information regarding the other changes pertaining to this law, please contact our office.

Bodily Injury Coverage
This protects you, as an individual or anyone else covered by your auto policy, for liability coverage. It is liability protection in case the other person sues for damages related to bodily injury of others in an auto accident.
PIP/Medical Coverage
PIP (Personal Injury Protection) coverage is medical coverage for the named insured and resident relatives living in the household. This covers medical expenses related to an auto accident. Depending which option you choose will depend on the amount of coverage you have.
Qualified Health Coverage (QHC)
• Health insurance that has an annual deductible of $6,000 or less AND covers medical expenses resulting from an automobile accident.• If selecting an option because of Qualified Health Coverage, a letter will be required for proof indicating this specific coverage and the persons included in the health plan must be displayed.
